Terms of Use
1. About ICTUM
ICTUM is an independent product lab operated by Sandro Batista. It is not currently a separate legal entity. These terms apply to ICTUM websites and the experimental products referenced below.
2. Scope and acceptance
By accessing or using ICTUM sites or experiences, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services. Product-specific terms in section 14 supplement this page where relevant.
3. Experimental nature
ICTUM products are experimental. Features may change, be limited, paused or discontinued without notice. We do not guarantee continuous availability, specific outcomes or that any product will reach general release.
4. Permitted use
You may use our services only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms. You must not misuse, disrupt or attempt unauthorised access to our systems or data.
5. User submissions
When you submit ideas, messages or other content, you remain responsible for that content. You confirm you have the right to share it and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.
6. Intellectual property
ICTUM brands, sites and product materials are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant ICTUM a limited, non-exclusive licence to use submissions only as needed to review, respond to and operate the relevant service.
7. Third-party services
Some experiences link to or integrate third-party services (for example hosting, authentication or music platforms). Those services are governed by their own terms and policies.
8. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend or withdraw any part of a service for maintenance, security, legal or product reasons. We may update these terms; continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms where permitted by law.
9. Disclaimers
Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Outputs generated or suggested by AI features may be inaccurate or incomplete; you are responsible for reviewing them before reliance or publication.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ICTUM and Sandro Batista shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill arising from use of the services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer protection law.
11. Suspension or termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms, posed a security risk or misused a service. You may stop using our services at any time.
12. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory rights under the law of your country of residence.
